INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

With the Band (WTB) helps artists better engage, manage, and monetize their fan bases. By prioritizing community, WTB has forged authentic connections between fans and artists like the Jonas Brothers and Kacey Musgraves. The company's innovative Fan Crew platform offers artists a comprehensive suite of tools to manage, engage, and monetize their fan bases, encompassing features like push notifications, fan data management, and creative artist-specific fan engagement ideas all at a zero start-up cost. Esteemed artists like Dylan Scott, Maggie Rose, Tayler Holder, Tenille Townes, and Zach Top have launched their Fan Crews with WTB.


We offer five different internship opportunities, and each one is extremely valued!

Rockstar Candidates are...

  • Currently a student pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate Degree

  • Self-starters with enthusiasm and genuine curiosity about music, technology, entrepreneurship, and business

  • Great writers, communicators, and problem-solvers

  • Have strong research and time management skills

  • Attentive to detail, able to think creatively, willing to try new ideas and learn new skills, and dependable

Location and Time Commitment

  • Our internships are in person at our office in Nashville, TN

  • Flexible with work-from-home days

  • Interns must commit a minimum of ten hours per week

​

Social Media Management

Maintaining With the Band’s social media accounts.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Posting daily on Instagram

    • Tweeting or Re-tweeting daily

    • Creating TikTok content

    • Staying up to date with trends

    • Creating content in Canva

    • Scheduling social media posts

    • Updating our Link in Bio

    • Tracking our social media analytics

Blog Manager

Writing our weekly blog posts.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Researching topics for blog posts

    • Researching SEO topics and trends for us to follow

    • Staying up to date with entertainment industry news

    • Writing and scheduling blog posts in Wix

    • Sending out our weekly newsletter in Mailchimp

Video Editing & Content Creation

Editing our YouTube videos and other video content for social media.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Reaching out to fans on Instagram for interviews

    • Staying up to date on what music is trending

    • Being familiar with our past interviews and YouTube content

    • Staying in touch with our CEO for interview scheduling

    • Editing content for social media and general YouTube videos

Public Relations

Working with our PR manager.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Updating media contacts

    • Researching outlets for possible press opportunities

    • Drafting press releases, media advisories, bios, blog posts, and more

    • Writing point of contact emails

    • Keeping track of our current press

    • Staying up to date and researching the music industry, music tech, and startup news

    • Brainstorming ideas for public and fan relations campaigns

    • Assisting with day-to-day tasks of the public relations team

Artist Relations

Working with our CEO on Artist Outreach.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Updating artist outreach contacts and process tracker

    • Researching fan clubs

    • Researching artist fan bases

    • Managing sales pipeline

    • Delivering creative ideas to help our current artists' content strategy

​

Compensation

  • All internships are unpaid, though arrangements can be made for university credit.
